Experience operator in our Fusion Intelligence Gathering Center. My responsibilities were to gather communications from units on the road and assist with real time CCTV footage in real time to assist with their investigations and evidence collection. My responsibilities were to identify incidents that were captured by our city cameras and utilize various tools in our Center to back track the incident and determine the sequence of events to identify the responsible cause while disseminating the information to the appropriate resources in order for officers at the scene to effectively and safely handle the incident. In this role, I was also tasked to retrace suspects whereabouts during incidents by utilizing various resources such as CCTV and LPR systems that would hold evidentiary value by placing the victim or suspect in particular places which assisted detectives and other investigators in their investigations. As result of my findings I would prepare data and digital evidence for evidence collection to be presented for court and investigative proceedings.

As a patrolman, I have held responsibilities in working various areas of Bridgeport, CT, a city of roughly 150,000 residents. I have worked in different details from street crime units as well as housing units utilizing proactive methods to focus on public housing projects consisting of violent crimes such as shootings, homicides, assaults, gang activity, etc.

As a project longevity officer I worked as a police officer in the program which was modeled after Operation Ceasefire. The purpose of the program was to focus on violent gangs/groups in the city responsible for violent crimes primarily homicides and shootings. Our role was partnered with United States Attorneys office, States Attorney, FBI, DEA, ATF, DOC, Adult and Juvenile Probation combining resources to target violent offenders. We used resources in attempt to deter violent crimes by focusing on offenders in efforts to provide avenues for deterrence in their regard. I coordinated meetings, data, led meetings with these fellow agencies, formulated plans on our focus groups, and updated databases to current information. Also utilizing Shotspotter software to map shootings across the city and collect shots fired data. Coordinated parties of interest in these matter with assisting task forces and agencies.
