With an international team of researchers SHARECITY is using a collaborative and trans-disciplinary approach to assess the practice and sustainability potential of ICT-enabled food sharing in cities. My roles involves:• Conducting independent and collaborative research into food sharing initiatives and sustainable urban food systems around the world, with a focus on food waste and food surplus redistribution. Publication in Progress: "Disruptive technologies? Scaling relational geographies of ICT-mediated surplus food redistribution"• Quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis; and database management• Project administrations including coordinating a research team on fieldwork; planning and arranging events, workshops and conferences; budget management; and other project logistics.• Website and social media management, content for newsletters and blogs.• Preparation and design of documents including reports, policy briefs, publicity materials, and other publications.• Presenting at and participating in conferences, workshops and other events.
