Current• Responsible for easing the amendment process for a national association’s multiple employer Defined Benefit and 401(k) Plans.• Ensures retirement program changes complies with both Federal and State regulations and the association’s policies.• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients by providing analytical and technical support. Counsels Employers about their retirement programs.• Works closely with Actuarial and Legal Compliance staff in preparing defined benefit plan proposals for past service liabilities, benefit upgrades, and special retirement offers.• Facilitates the adoption of accepted proposals leading the implementation process by coordinating inputs from various departments to ensure that all systems are appropriately updated and the payment for past service liabilities is documented and settled.• Served as a subject matter expert during the DB Plan administration system conversion. Provided insight during the design stage and created test case scenarios for User Acceptance Testing and End-to-End Testing. Provided analytical support when tests failed and adaptation needed.
