• Develop the production plans for the plant by balancing gross requirements against available capacity and lead times to become the basis for the plant financial operating goals• Manage the Plant Planning department day-to-day operations including building and reviewing monthly production schedules to support product forecast, product sales, and finished goods position relative to desired safety stock levels• Comprehensively assess demand parameters to locate and resolve supply flow restrictions and refine operations to maximize product availability• Serve as the Supply Chain liaison between the plant as a third-party manufacturer and its customers• Coordinate with functional groups such as Purchasing, Validations, Manufacturing, Batch Release, and Global Planning to ensure new product/process introduction is seamless• Create and communicate WIP inventory position and performance reports to stakeholders• Responsible for hiring, training, evaluation, and developing staff
