Key tasks included: handling of tuco-tucos, cleaning cages, identify potential problems with any animal.

This project investigates topics in the fields of behavioral ecology and cognitive evolution by using a combination of field experiments and natural observations on wild groups of vervet monkeys. - Participated in a number of behavioral experiments with Vervet Monkeys. - Taught newer assistants how to identify and describe different monkeys utilizing ear shape, eyebrow shape, eye rings, and other identifying features. - Streamlined plans to organize the day in the field including where to use telemetry and when to collect focal data. - Collected and processed fecal samples for genetic, hormonal, and dietary analysis. - Managed and maintained field equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and data accuracy.

As a flute teacher, I teach students (currently remotely) how to play and improve on flute. I am currently teaching four students once a week and have helped them find ways to improve themselves. They are now able to find what they messed up on and go back to break it down. As a musician, it's important to know when you mess up and how to fix it yourself. By being my student, I've been able to help them figure this out and work through their struggles as musicians.

I participated in a primatology-based field school where I learned how to track primates, collect data on a variety of wildlife, handle wildlife, and process data that was collected in order to add to a database of information on the health of different wildlife found in the Amazon.Field School Responsibilities: Collecting, processing, and analyzing data about primates, birds, bats, and mammals in and out of the field (in the rainforest and at the field station).Field School Impact: I helped collect data on how magnesium from gold mines affected local wildlife in the Peruvian Amazon.

At Sportsman's, I worked on the floor with customers. I helped put clothes onto the floor, recover, and find out what customers are looking for. During the two months I was here, I learned how to be more extroverted with customers and work efficiently with my coworkers. I took a break from September to November due to school, but returned during my Winter break 2020.

At JCPenney, I was able to learn how to work a cash register, work efficiently with customers, and stay calm in stressful situations. Although I was only here for a month before I went to college, my experience helps me succeed in stressful situations and understand how to work with customers and other people in future situations.

I was the president of the club of Société de Honoraire de Français this past year. I created slides and studied the French culture, as well as helped plan events for the group throughout the year. We participated in helping the environment with recycle drives and studied (and spoke) French during the meetings until my graduation.

As one of the leaders of band, I was in charge of 140 students and sections. I was able to help maintain good communication and motivation throughout the band for the year before I graduated High School. I conducted and helped teach the younger students how to march, play the flute, and be a leader in the band themselves. Leadership is a way of being, everything should be about others. A boss is when everything is about yourself. I was the best leader and the worst boss I could be. By the end of the year, I achieved the John Phillip Sousa Award for Marching Band.

As flute section leader, I was able to motivate my section of 20 people to learn about the flute and to memorize our music. I took care of section problems and motivated them with the Token Economy of stickers. This helped improve our motivation and family as a section. By the end of the year, I received the awards Best Attitude and Outstanding Section Leader in the band at our end of the year banquet.
