Responsible for customer relationship in terms of application deliverables and the overall cost and sales of applications and services.Technology – Strategic and tactical focus on enterprise level Sun servers, iPlanet, Oracle Databases, routers, switches, load balancing, firewalls, intrusion detection, 24x7 remote management and monitoring, and Java application development.Accomplishments – Among various applications, directly responsible for the implementation of License Plate renewal applications within Texas, and the start-up and direction of the Legal e-Filing initiative.

On the Development side, milestones, goals, and metrics accumulation for Partnerware’s enterprise software development. Server level hardware through Compaq, HP, and Sun. 24x7 remote management and monitoring. Customer SLAs crafted to reward only 100% customer satisfaction.Accomplishments – Increased total system availability from 94% to over 99.95% across all production, pre-production deployment, training, and demonstration environments. Reduced the operating budget while increasing availability, security, and enterprise capability. Provided flexible cost models across varying performance requirements, transaction loads, and customer levels. Managed multiple customer production deployments. Consolidated broad business requirements to a narrowly defined RCD to speed application development. Responsible for matching the development of application functionality against strict project timetables.

Contracted with KMPG Consulting for the TexasOnline initiative:Leadership Responsibility – A group of vendors, consultants, and KPMG employees. We sought teaming relationships to reduce risk and speed delivery. Direct Responsibility – Originally tasked with leadership of all TexasOnline site deployment, security, and administration for highly available and highly secure e-Commerce operations. Ultimately also led site programming and development.Technology – Strategic and tactical focus on enterprise level Sun servers, iPlanet, Oracle Databases, routers, switches, load balancing, firewalls, intrusion detection, 24x7 remote management and monitoring, and Java application development.Accomplishments – Worked with various State Agencies, vendors, and KPMG groups to deploy the TexasOnline Portal. The TexasOnline site was designed to host all government funded e-Commerce initiatives within the State of Texas, ranging from municipal and county to state and city uses. Quickly brought a project that was considered ‘stopped’ to a successful functional release.

Our team implemented production customer sites, ePayment tools and testing facilities, and Globeset applications demonstration sites. Analyzed and evaluated the abilities of 16 potential collocation hosts and created high level relationships with 5 and strategic agreements with 3. This provided Globeset with the ability to quickly locate installations in over 30 data centers worldwide. Numerous customer presentations covering the technology, security, and availability of our hosted offering.
