For over eight years, I've been actively engaged with the CARIN Alliance, a non-partisan coalition focused on advancing consumer-directed exchange nationwide. Within the alliance, I spearhead HL7 interactions and have overseen the development and release of three HL7 FHIR implementation guides: CARIN IG for Blue Button, CARIN Digital Insurance Card, and Consumer Real-Time Pharmacy Benefit Check. Through Leavitt Partners, I led the development of the SMART Health Cards and Links implementation guide.
