Strategic Infrastructure Planning and Asset Management Professional with over 17 years of experience working on local government infrastructure (as client and consultant) following a career in aerospace that set up a number of fundamental ways that I approach complex problems. I have a passion for the outdoors and to improving/preserving the unique environment and way of life in Aotearoa/New Zealand. I have a strong analytical background, but also have the ability to communicate technical matters to non-technical individuals at all levels. More recently I have experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team managing the asset management of long-life infrastructure assets ($3bn+ value) and also the long-term planning to stay ahead in one of the fastest growing districts in New Zealand.
