I develop and administer programs to stimulate economic development, revitalize neighborhoods, and promote affordable housing. I launch, manage, and assess marketing campaigns to attract new business investment and have secured over $3.5 million in grants-in-aid to support community development initiatives. In addition, I manage Town participation in the State Neighborhood Assistance Act Program which has raised $400K in charitable gifts to local non-profits.For more information on specific initiatives, please see my Projects section below.Founded in 1639, Fairfield, Connecticut is a charming and thriving town with a population of 62,000 that features five miles of shoreline on the Long Island Sound. Fairfield has five town beaches, two universities, many parks and ball fields, two public golf courses, and a vibrant array of restaurants and stores. Family-oriented Fairfield also has top-notch, high performing public schools with rich academic programs. Only 50 miles from New York City, Fairfield is easily accessible to I-95 and the Merritt Parkway and has three train stations on the Metro North line that extends from New Haven, Connecticut to New York’s Grand Central Terminal.

I managed all aspects of this full-service community of 50,000 residents, supervised a staff of 445 full-time employees, and administered an annual operating budget of $60 million. I also directed negotiations with five municipal bargaining units.

I prepared annual operating and capital equipment budgets, coordinated and produced the Town’s annual report, administered federal and state grants, and developed, implemented, and managed a commuter parking program serving over 500 commuters daily.

I developed and implemented a preventative maintenance program, managed the consulting engineer’s contract and progress, and prepared specifications and bid documents related to a city-wide leak detection program contract.
