Plant Operator commissioning and continued use of gas fired turbines, heat recovery steam generators, steam turbine generator and associated auxiliary plant utilities. Ensure safe and efficient operation of power plant equipment including first line fault diagnosis and basic maintenance. Receipt and offloading of consumables and providing support for both planned and unplanned maintenance.In my role as Senior Technician, I have been responsible for the running of the site out of hours as required meeting Production, Quality and Safety targets. Also writing, issuing and accepting Permits to Work as required. Providing strong leadership to the team and delegating routine, maintenance and break down tasks. Making critical decisions to maintain plant production and sterility. Issuing Non-Conformances and Incident forms providing initial risk analysis. Acting as a point of contact to suppliers, customers and third parties.Working as part of a team to operate a complex Fermentation Plant to monoscopic standards to meet Food regulatory and ISO 9000 and BRC standards. As a Senior Technician I am responsible for assisting the Shift Team Leader in the operation and maintenance of the site assets and for ensuring that production targets of the business are met in terms of SHE, quality, volume, efficiency and customer service. I am an experienced control room operator having used ABB and Scada DCS systems to run 4 independent Fermenters along with Raw materials, Utilities and Harvesting sections using my advanced knowledge to monitor, fault find and improve efficiency. To safely carry out a wide range of multi skilled maintenance activities necessary to ensure plant availability and planned production campaigns. This includes removal, refitting of plant, and also calibration and trip testing. Carry out a range of analytical tasks associated with on line operations. Due to my prior experience, I regularly carry out electrical and instrument tasks to assist plant operation.
