Responsible for building and transforming the Synamedia managed service vision and capability. Initially focused on the Infinite platform, Synamedia’s end to end hybrid OTT cloud based platform serving several Tier 1 service providers. Working alongside the customer and internal stake holders to align expectations for service delivery, to ensure a world class OTT experience. Ensuring the engineering teams included non-functional / operational requirements into future developments.

Leading all technology, broadcast and platform operations for the MENA region’s largest Pay TV operator. The business served three main platforms, a DTH satellite service plus two digital platforms serving the needs of different customer segments. Responsibilities of the role included strategy alignment to business goals and objectives, relationship owner with major technology partners, including software delivery partners, app development houses, multiple conditional access suppliers, satellite operators, broadcast partners and set top box vendors. Responsible for scaling the team and operations to compliment the digital transformation of the business and changing demands of the industry while still delivering against challenging expectations. Leading a team of 140+ staff with budget responsibility in excess of $50 million per year.
