• Manage every aspect of Army National Guard Initial Entry Training. Resulting in reduced student attrition by over432 soldiers, saving over $31M in training cost.
• Reengineered the Army’s training assignment process. Resulting in reduced redundant training locations, increased efficiency of the Army training base by 25%, and saved over $5M in travel costs.
• Provided key strategic leadership in development of the Army National Guard’s first every Leader Development Strategy. Resulting in having agile leaders better aligned to the Army’s overall mission and objectives.

Arlington VA

• Develop, communicate, and coordinate strategic policy, plans initiatives and concepts related to warfighting, transformation, State Partnership Program involvement in global security cooperation, federal/state homeland.
• Transformed organizational design of the office with 75 people. Resulting in a significant efficiencies, better alignment, improved communication and cooperation with external organizations.
• Lead author of the first Department of Defense policy for the use of funds to pay for activities between States and other Nations. Resulting in providing guidance on what activities States could fund in engagements.
• Led the development of National Guard strategic planning process. Resulting in significantly improving the States’ ability to efficiently, effectively and rapidly respond to domestic crises.
• Led contract consolidation efforts. Resulting in reducing 12 contracts to five, which was a 45% reduction in the annual budget.

Fort Leavenworth, KS

• Provide battle staff training to all Army National Guard Divisions, Brigade, and Battalions. Responsible for day-to-day operations, education & training, logistics, supply chain, facilities management, maintenance, IT.
• Developed and implemented a logistics maintenance program. Resulting in successfully passed the command maintenance evaluation inspection two years in a row with zero deficiencies.
• Led training efficiency review. Resulting in improving the quality of training and increased throughput training over 108 battalions (over 6,400 soldiers).
• Coached and mentored 14 suture leaders. Resulting in four soldiers selected for a completive quota in a professional military education program, and one soldiers recognized as an honor graduate.
