Dedicated, accomplished professional with over 30 years of IT industry experience, 17 years with leadership, resource, project management, and technical leadership experience, more than 20 years of managing and delivering data centric solutions including Oracle and other large database and Data Warehouse environments, IBM’s Big Data database Netezza, and Hadoop experience. Seasoned consultant with the innate ability to implement many emerging and “disruptive” technologies including building the first campus-wide network while at Pepperdine, the development of a proprietary system performance measurement model and the implementation of Informatica and Netezza technologies. Leader of evaluation and implementation of a world-class ETL tool and the migration of our Operational Data Store databases, used for analytics and reporting, to a leading Analytics Appliance platform. These technologies were completely new to the enterprise and provided the business with significant analytics capabilities that did not previously exist. Vast experience with Booz Allen Hamilton to develop Enterprise Information Management Strategy, Roadmap and Blueprint artifacts and as a member of the Moser Big Data Team, was one of the first people to pass the hands-on Hortonworks Certified Administrator (HDPCA) exam.
