Following a successful period as Branch Manager Worcester, the opportunity arose to open a brand new branch in Dudley, with no existing customer base. By successfully project managing all aspects of opening a new branch, from designing a trade counter, sales office and warehouse layout, recruiting staff, liaising with key suppliers and negotiating deals to become a regional stockist, Within the first year, the customer base increased to over 80 trading accounts, including major blue chip companies such as Interserve. Sales have grown monthly and quickly became one of the leading wholesalers in the area, having over ten different competitors in a very small radius. Within this time my role undertook the added responsibility of running a second branch, West Bromwich. With effective time management I was able to enjoy all the challenges related with running both branches.
