6 month Secondment (loaned from KPMG) to Government of Jersey's Digital Policy Unit (DPU) to assist in delivering an Island Wide Cyber Risk Assessment. The Secondment commenced in January and was planned to last until July. However, because of the Coronavirus pandemic it was put on hold in late March. It was resumed in early August and continued till completion in November. The Island Wide Cyber Risk Assessment was a project launched to provide insight into the current Cyber Security maturity of businesses’ on the Island and to assess the islands security landscape as a whole. The results of the survey would be used by the Government to inform future policy and increase the islands resilience to cyber threats.My work on the project included: -Creation and review of survey questions -Ensuring questions aligned with the NIST framework-Creating communications to recipients (informing them what it is, encouraging participation, etc.) -Creating and updating the Government website with details of the assessment -Reviewing final reports and recommendations templates-Creating an FAQ page for use by businesses on Government website-Regular communication with consultant hosting assessment platform-Answering privacy concerns of participants While working at the Government of Jersey i was also involved with various other pieces of work including:-Working on Jersey's free TV licensing for OAP's-Working with local Telecoms on the new Telecom Security Requirements (TSRs)-Creating research documents and discussions around Smart cities and Data Foundations.-Work on establishing a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) in Jersey-Researching Contact Tracing apps in foreign jurisdictions for Coronavirus response
