I started working when I was 16 and basically never stopped. Now its time to slow down, smell the roses and work on my longevity. Expect to see me in the gym and on the road cruising on my motorcycle!

I provide vision and leadership in all areas of technology at Lynden School District. My responsibilities include the development, administration, implementation, and evaluation of technology to support the mission of the district. My team and I work with the staff to integrate the most effective tools for student learning and most efficient technology and use of data throughout the school district.

This position encompasses all facets of IT support. From repairing desktop sw/hw, to installing servers and maintaining cabling.It also includes strategic work such as helping to redesign the domain, updating the common folder structures with special emphasis on student sensitivity, designing and implementing a imaging system, installing and supporting the enterprise backup and anti-virus solutions.

Switching to small-company mode I provided support corporate-wide for everything, from DNS and app issues to crawling under desks and running wires in the attic

Rewrote and tested over 200 W2K8 security alerting rules.Managed project to prepare team for security audit resulting in overall “satisfactory” result.Designed and programmed a configuration auditing tool for next-gen Windows servers that cut labor by 90% and eliminated human error in system standardization.Installed, upgraded and monitored agents for global corporate implementation of NetIQ Security Manager (security event monitoring software).Identified out-of-date internal-support and customer documentation. Rewrote to enhance readability, security and standardization.100% telecommuting from Washington state to California and Texas.
