Director Of Operations And Readiness (G33)
Served as the Director, Operations and Readiness Directorate (G33) with in the G-3/5/7, Headquarters, US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM). As the Director of the G33, coordinated all aspects of Operations associated with the Readiness build and delivery of Army Capabilities to the Combatant Commanders. Managed and led the day to day activities of the Directorate to provide timely, accurate, synchronized and integrated information and analysis to support decision making on all aspects of readiness, operations and strategic movements in support of the Commander, United States Army Forces Command mission to provide a sustained flow of trained and ready forces to support Combatant Commands. Specifically, supervised the FORSCOM operations center along with the tracking, projection and coordination of the progressive readiness build for all FORSCOM units. Ensured continuity of operations in the event of a crisis. Supervised senior level staff comprised of civilian and military staff officers through grades GS-14 and Colonel. Briefed the G-3/5/7, Command Group and higher headquarters on the current status of ongoing projects and any other special or high visibility performance areas as required. Responsible for day-to-day operations of planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the directorate's activities to support FORSCOM’s mission to provide trained and ready forces. Typically delegated complete responsibility and authority to exercise wide latitude in applying originality, insight, and creativity in developing operations, plans and policies for all operations and readiness-related activities, and discretion and judgment in determining whether to broaden or narrow the scope of operations and issues.

Served as the G3/5/7 Readiness Division Chief. In this position I was responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the division’s activities for 40 senior civilian and military personnel, including a colonel and 5 GS-14s in support of FORSCOM’s mission to provide trained and ready forces. Supported command decision making on readiness related issues by providing comprehensive readiness assessments through Active and Reserve Component Readiness updates to the FORSCOM command team. Ensured that FORSCOM leaders were fully prepared for the HQDA Strategic Readiness Updates. Ensured compliance with OSD, Joint and Army readiness reporting requirements by developing and submitting the Joint Forces Readiness Review.
