With over 30 years of experience in nearly all aspects of production, Mark has the creative vision and proven leadership skills to develop and deliver original television pilots, scripted and documentary features, as well as branded and social media content. From Head of Development, to writing, directing, and editing, to serving as a co-executive producer - Mark has developed several national cable network series (2 of which he directed) including 3 seasons on Travel Channel’s “Airport 24/7: Miami.” Mark has also directed two feature documentaries, is producing a scripted series, and developing two narrative features.LEADERSHIP IN THE FIELD:What sets Mark apart from others in the industry, is the decades of embedded experience in all elements of production. From scripted to “Live action” directing, in dangerous locales and extreme situations, working with a broad range of demanding clients and government agencies. Always finding a way to fulfill the creative vision while carefully abiding by the demanding legal regulations from agencies including: The Police and Fire Departments, SWAT, TSA, Canine Explosives Detection & Cadaver Dogs, Customs, The Coast Guard, and the FBI – often producing high-risk stories as they unfold while abiding by several agency rules simultaneously. Building trust to the point that Mark has been given unprecedented access to produce stories on criminals, sting operations, and hidden government locations, to name a few. From riding with Air Rescue on a trauma call to rescuing survivors at sea, to a 200’ freighter fire or Fuel Farm explosion, apprehending a murder suspect, drug busts, and animal and jewelry smugglers. Mark has also produced content in extreme locales including the Amazon, Mayan villages in Central America, a Shark Week episode in the Bahamas, and polar bears in the Arctic Circle.Mark has an all-encompassing passion for storytelling, often focusing on environmental themes, the human condition, and animal conservation – carefully respecting each situation at hand, while providing the best entertainment possible.
