I currently work for (10+ years) a security company who installs alarm, access control and CCTV systems. I have worked as a foreman or team leader on most of the company’s largest installs. Deploying fiber optic networks, with multiple node locations, across multiple subnets. I’ve been trained in Terminating Corning, and Panduit fiber optic connectors. As well as deploying access control systems with single interface for many locations, all managed by a central security operations center. I’ve installed many different products such as S2, AMAG, Verex, ICT, Keyscan, RBH, Kantech, DigiMerge, Geuterbruck, ACTi, AXIS, BOSCH, Milestone, Onssi, and many others.Some of my other duty’s include general office IT helpdesk requests, exchange \ active directory configuration, as well as network administration. Testing new products for our sales team.I hold a valid trade qualification for Security Alarm Installer, and am proficient in ULC Fire Monitoring.Troubleshooting and coming up with unique solutions has been a specialty of mine, coming from learning how these systems work down to the binary level, and relay logic.I have a general curiosity for learning science and technology and am always looking to learn and improve my skills.
