E&I FAT engineer position with principal engineering contractor to oversee 400V, 6.6kV and 22kV prefabrication switchrooms for the Albemarle Lithium Project for the Kemerton Lithium Process Facility. Collabatively work with switchroom electrical contractor (Plummers Industries) in the fabrication of switchrooms, switchboards, distribution board, building services, process control and communications systems. Precommissioning activities including energisation of building services, UPS systems, Switchboards and Motor Control Centres. Integrated FAT commissioning activities for control systems interfaces to all external supplied equipment to ensure switchroom is fully tested and energised prior to room being shipped to site. Review of all contractor ITP and associated ITR’s to demonstrate completions of all assigned activities. Review of all RLMU drawings and documents to identify all changes identified duing the precommissioning activities.

Daily interfaces with contractor & subcontractors from both construction and commissioning teams to coordinate and assist to facilite agreed approvals for these systems. Liase with Chevron operations personnel on acceptance of subsystems and systems to progress thru commissioning to operational phases. Client representative for INPEX on the Ichthys Onshore LNG Project as Precommissioning supervisor to oversee EPC contractor in deliverables for RFC and RFSU completions certification for all E&I systems for the project. Assist contractor in closeout of all critical punch items and ITR’s to achieve subsystem turnover. Attend daily meeting on critical systems to drive closeout of turnover deliverables. Support contractor’s process and procedures, identify deficiencies and corrective actions to streamline works and processes and assist to drive initiatives moving forward. Accountable to the Precommissioning Manager for reporting and reviewing subsystem schedule and identify key hold points in construction and commissioning milestones. Review daily reporting of subcontractor deliverables to project completions system, TOSTR. Identify deficiencies in the punch listing of deliverables and ensuring punch items are assigned to the correct closeout teams dependent upon contractual requirements including punch categorisations. Liaise on a day to day basis with company and contractor E&I supervisors on works, remedial actions, ITR progress and punch clearing activities.Support contractors and company integragted permit systems, ISSoW, for all works being undertaken by contruction and commissioning personnel.

EPC representative for field based I&C engineering and technical clarifications for subcontractor queries for greenfield build of multi billion dollar onshore LNG facility. Review, scrubbing and forecasting of electrical, instrumentation and control system for completions/turnover. Client, EPC and subcontractor system construction walkdowns for punchlisting including catagorisation of identified punch items. Review and approval for EPC turnover packages dossiers including, ITR’s, redline drawings, special tools, punchlist completion. Liase with Client and contractors to review system prioities for turnover to commissioning.

Client representative for Origin Energy to Commission Instrument, Control and Electrical facilities at new upstream CSG gas processing facility. Commissioning Supervisor and ICE Engineer to support team of E&I commissioning technicians during all precom and commissioning of the GPF utilities and process trains. Reporting to the Lead Commissioning Superintendent to report scheduling and progress, undertake field technical queries, review completed ITP and ITR’s to ensure the facility specifications are adhered to during the pre com and commissioning phase of the project. Oversee EPC contractor for construction related activities, undertake project MC walkdowns, punchlisting to ensure compliance to all project specification and procedures. Support integragted permit systems, ISSoW, for all works being undertaken by commissioning personnel. Critically review all contractor construction and vendor documentation including field design changes, schedule, method statements, ITR, ITP and variation orders. Oversee the electrical & instrumentation completions and turnover process utilising GoCompletions database to ensure compliance for facility and document handover to client.Participate in client and contractor safety walks and actively participate in all HSE programs for the project. Part of a team electrical engineers, reporting to the Project Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee main EPC contractor for all construction, PMC, completions, commissioning and start-up for all electrical scope associated with the project including 66kV, 33kV, 6.6kV & 415V switchgear, UPS systems, ELICS control and shutdown systems. Participate in all coordination activity between PMT, operations group and contractor to achieve seamless integration of the facility during the different phases of the project. Lead expat team of QA/QC electrical inspectors for site verification of all ITR’s. Critically review all contractor and vendor documentation including field design changes, schedule, method statements, ITR, ITP and change orders.
