As the head Accounting and Finance individual for this Publishing, Event, and Real Estate Data Re-seller that has been in business since 1872, I have designed financials and simple metrics for tracking efficiency and profitability and distribute this financial package to our Board of Directors monthly. I manage a small staff of Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Payroll clerks that stay within standards to produce accurate and trusted accounting data. I also manage all aspects of the general ledger, including creating new general ledger accounts and financials to track brand new product lines. Accrual and Deferment of revenue and expenses, within well recognized and accepted standards. Also internal allocations of costs between departments, for best and most true reporting, as well as accurate department profitability measurements.
