Customer Converting Machinery OEM); Responsibilities Include: Beginning to end/startup machine electrical design including BOM generation & electrical CAD work through to customer/management reviews, assembly supervision & customer acceptance testing. Develop/program, install & commission machine control applications both in Ladder/Function Block and GUI environments including VFD's. Lead training efforts of Rockwell control products to others in engineering team. Support on-site installation activities. Designs panels in accordance with UL (Conquip is a UL certified panel assembler). I programmed Machine Controls with:Rockwell/Allen Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix components (using RSLogix5000 software)

Responsibilities Include: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical sales support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with Rockwell Integrated Architecture products (PLC, PAC, Motion, HMI). Make technical presentations regarding all aspects of company products. Mentor/Support Rockwell Distributor Integrated Architecture specialists. Assist sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications. Implement detailed customer installation requirements. Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications to service personnel, company sales representatives, and customer's employees.

Responsibilities Include: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical sales support for Motor Control Centers (MCC's). Mentor/Support Distributor MCC Specialists. Work as a liaison between distribution/customers and the Rockwell factory. Review complex contract specifications to create Motor Control Center workups & pricing. Work within hard deadlines set by public bid job specifications. I helped the district MCC sales numbers beat a tough quota when the amount of district MCC specialists went from three to just one/myself.

Responsibilities Include: System level circuit design of glass coating machines. Develop, install & commission machine control applications both in Ladder and GUI environments including motion. Write engineering specifications including purchase specifications and wiring/layout diagrams. Support purchase & implementation of designs. Supervise work of electrical designers and support questions/design issues with shop floor assembly crew. Interpret and design in accordance with customer technical specifications and international codes. Use CAD (Promis-e) to draw circuit diagrams. Design and document electrical circuits in coating machines. Report progress of designs to management via monthly reports.

Responsibilities Include: System level circuit design of Light Rail Vehicles (LRV). Use CAD (AutoCAD & ElCAD) to draw circuit diagrams. Interpret and design in accordance with customer technical specifications. Write schematic descriptions. Give oral design reviews for supervisors and customer. Help initiate MRPII system. Assist Mechanical Engineering Dept. and Assembly Plant in installation of all electrical parts. Design and document all wiring in LRV. Coordinate CAD software purchases and training.
