I have 12 years of retail experience, from new starter to management. I am currently Sales Manager for a busy University Bookshop, which in 2017 was awarded Shop of The Year for best in company sales and KPI achievement.Customer service is everything to me and I am constantly looking for new ways to improve the customer experience. I have received company awards for the level of care I provide to all my customers and for innovative ideas in customer care and value.My main focus apart from looking after our existing customers is to act as Academic Liaison to our host University and the wider Corporate, Professional and Institutional sales market in Nottingham. This means acting as an advocate for our products and services to drive new sales and develop existing relationships.As well as customer relations, my current role means I am involved with the personal development and mentoring of my colleagues, from recruitment to on-going training.
