Worked with Unix as an IBM developer in the late 80s, and moved into IBM Marketing as an Account System's Engineer supporting AIX, and VM/MVS responsible for GE Aircraft Engines & Power Generation, Textron Defense Systems, GTE, and Polaroid for IBM's 100M+ revenue customers. I started independently consulting to companies such as: IBM ProfSvcs, HP at GE Power Generation for one year, Ratheon's Badger Engineering, Wellington Management, Fidelity, Alden Electronics, Massachusetts Financial (direct), and EMC ASG Internet Solutions, 5yrs, supporting; StaplesLink, MGM Studios, Coremetrics, EMC, and other EMC clients. While independently consulting, I have worked at numerous firms. Some contracts as short as 4 hours, and as long as five years. At Monster's Hudson International, supported Oracle RAC Clusters & Applications for Harte Hanks' clients, 3yrs; TJ Maxx, Toys 'R Us, Volvo, Ford and Trillium. I provide support for: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Solaris, and AIX. I have concentrations in Networking and SAN storage management, including direct attach with Powerpath, Qlogic, and Emulex as well as NAS services using SMB/CIFS.Most recently worked for iGate Patni at their MetLife Boston location under a secret clearance status for a DoD product set supporting application management via J2EE WebSphere on virtual servers.I maintain a direct group of Small Enterprise clients, focusing on reliability and redundancy, Onsite/Offsite Backup Solutions, VPN Installation, and Application support for core business products support.
