I am a General Counsel with over 30 years of expertise as a senior level attorney and trusted advisor to large and small IT enterprises, providing legal and operational guidance to executive teams, portfolio managers, and Boards of Directors, with a focus on government contracting. Most recently the Staff Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of General Dynamics Information Technology, I spent over fifteen years delivering billions of dollars in government contracts, building on my career as General Counsel for Enterprise Information Management and Tri-Cor Industries, my legal work for Houston & Associates advising Raytheon, and my role as Director for Seltzer & Rosen. In addition to my incredible skill in government procurement, I provide expert business counsel across all federal, state, and commercial sectors, including contracts, software licensing, privacy, ethics, audits, litigation, M&A, IP, and corporate structuring. Joining the in-house environment after a few years as an associate for Rissetto, Weaver & Rosen, I graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University Columbus School of Law, and was on the Catholic University Law Review.The following are a few career highlights indicating some of my accomplishments: Driven billions of dollars in federal and state contracts by advising GDIT executives and PMs on strategic government procurement. Closed $500M+ in prime and subcontract agreements supporting NOAA HPC for General Dynamics (GDIT). Rescued $10M+ by negotiating the resolution of a threatened default of international software implementation for GDIT. Successfully defended a $100M federal biopharma lawsuit, receiving dismissal with prejudice. Developed and established the GDIT data privacy protection program from scratch, creating policies, procedures, and processes. Advised on acquisitions and divestitures of multiple companies valued at $750M+. Spearheaded a joint venture with GDIT and a small health claims storage business, retaining 60% of a legacy $50M/year contract. Boosted revenue by $100M+ through orchestrating multiple successful GAO protests resulting in numerous contract awards.I am open to opportunities that allow me to use the breadth of my experience and expertise, whether for a smaller company that needs a GC to create or revamp policies and processes while opening the doors for profits from government procurement, or a larger enterprise who wants to elevate their growth to the next level.
