Commander of the patrol division and formally served as the department's Training Coordinator. Patrol area includes SubTropolis (1,100 acre artificial cave, a Federal GSA Level III Secured Facility, and known as the world's largest underground business complex). The underground property is home to the National Archives and Records Administration, United States Environmental Protection Agency Region 7 Training and Logistics Center, United States Postal Service Stamps Fulfillment Services and over 55 private businesses with a daily workforce of over 3,000 people, countless daily visitors, and 1,500 acres of above ground commercial property known as Hunt Midwest Business Center. Licensed and classified by the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners as a Patrol Agent under Title 17 and Chapter 84 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. This is defined as an armed uniformed officer with the ability to arrest, detain, deter or prevent crime by implementing various law enforcement methods.

Armed Patrol Officer and served as the Crisis Intervention Team Officer (certified training at KCMO Police Academy for de-escalating crises involving people with mental illness) for the Continuous Campus located in Kansas City, Kansas. Patrol responsibility encompassed seven campuses and other miscellaneous properties with more than 12,700 local full-time workers throughout the Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas metropolitan area. Licensed and classified by the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners as a Patrol Agent under Title 17 and Chapter 84 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. This is defined as an armed uniformed officer with the ability to arrest, detain, deter or prevent crime by implementing various law enforcement methods.

Saint Joseph, Missouri

Supervised the loss prevention and safety activities of company employees. Primary emphasis was the detection and apprehension of anyone attempting to steal merchandise or destroy property. Operated and maintained computer assisted digital video surveillance system. Duties included a secondary responsibility acting as property “Safety Captain”.

Saint Joseph, Missouri

Monitored and managed the financial and personal behavior issues of over 30 clients for a national social services agency. Tasked with conducting client outreach, recruitment, intake and orientation in accordance with organizational and program guidelines. Administered the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) within the established federal guidelines.

Colorado / Wyoming

Supported the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management's recreation program performing off-highway vehicle patrols in extremely remote environments. Based at the Kremmling Field Office which manages 377,860 acres of land within a boundary four times the size of the State of Rhode Island. Performed on-site survey, researched satellite imagery and utilized mapping software for designating approved wilderness area trails. Responded to emergency situations, conducted permit compliance, safety inspections, generated public compliance regarding federal laws and regulations, and monitored conditions of sites of natural and cultural resources.

Overland Park, Kansas

Occupied a residence as a private contractor on city-owned Kemper Farm and provided landscaping services and security for approximately 600 acres which included the adjoining Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Presented varied environmental education programs and guided tours and interpretive walks. Designed, developed, constructed, and maintained backcountry trails.

Licensed and classified by the Missouri Department of Insurance as a Bail Bond Agent under Title 24 and Chapter 374 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. This is defined as working independently, or as a representative of an agency, completing bonding paperwork with the accused person, receiving payments and tracking down the person if he fails to appear in court.

St. Joseph, Missouri Area

Commissioned as a “Peace Officer” by the Missouri Department of Public Safety under Title 37 and Chapter 374 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. Charged with enforcing Federal, State, and City laws and ordinances. Preserved the peace, prevented or detected and investigated misconduct. Trained new recruits as a Field Training Officer for evening and night watches.

Saint Joseph, Missouri

Protected employer's investments, enforced laws on property, and deterred criminal activity. Foot and vehicle patrol of large indoor multi-store complex during normal business hours of operation. Supervised and advised security officers and off-duty police officers by monitoring their activities, reviewing, and approving their reports, and composing periodic performance evaluations.
