Worked as part of a forest bird research project collecting data pertaining to Iowa bird species. Job duties included identifying nearly 100 species of birds using 90% auditory cues and 10% visual cues in deeply wooded areas, navigating with handheld GPS units and other means. Entered data collected into a spreadsheet utilizing alpha codes.
