Researcher. I worked on 2 projects at TUD with primary focus on high power density packaging of power electronic systems.1: 2.2kW inverter for induction machines with a power density 4 times higher than the state of the art (4kW/dm^3). I was responsible for the concept definition, the electrical, thermal and mechanical design of the system. 2: Integration of a 220kW generator and 12 phase inverter into a single system. Application is a integrated generator for the avionics industry. I was responsible for the conceptual design and planning of the power electronic system in the generator system.

I received my PhD Cum Laude (with distinction).My PhD research focused on high power density, high temperature packaging of power converters. I developed a 2kW DC/DC converter together with Siemens AG, Germany that was cooled with a liquid coolant having a temperature of 125 degrees C while having a power density of approximately 100W/in^3.
