I'm seeking a challenging engineering position in Advance Supplier Development Engineering utilizing knowledge of electrical, electronic and quality system software and database development. Also, seeking positions in Automation Control Engineering and Electronic Test Engineer in an automotive environment.I have a combined 20 years of both technical and professional experience. I have performed as a Consumer Electronics Service Technician for nearly 12 years. I was a Microwave Television Media Engineer for 5 years with responsibilities in maintaining a Color Television Production Facility which included designing and building video and audio switching units for a video duplication center. After 4 years of undergraduate studies, I then advanced to Electronics Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities. This included developing CAD skills for graphically displaying manufacturing assembly methods as well as, actively pursuing ways to reduce manufacturing costs and improve manufacturing methods. I then advanced to VMEbus Applications/Support Engineer with Xycom Inc. in Saline, MI and then with Applied Dynamics International in Ann Arbor, MI. Responsibilities included, direct customer support in VMEbus problem solving, system integration, Hardware-In-the-Loop, software modeling tools and occasional on-site technical support. I also, had to support customer software applications such as, “C” test coding, Visual C++ coding and provided in-house or on-site training for product users. I’m currently working for Detroit Diesel as a Software Database Manager for all software builds and provided support for HIL testing for engine MCM modules and writing field test plans. My technical expertise spans Engine Control Units, VMEbus architecture, ISA platforms, VisualBASIC, Intel Assembly, C and C++, WINDOWS and UNIX environments. I possess good written and verbal communication skills and have completed the Dale Carnegie Course.
