Last year we renamed Liftshare as Mobilityways, to better reflect the wider role that we are playing in sustainable commuting. Our focus is on helping the UK to achieve Zero Carbon Commuting by 2040 at the latest. The strategy is to work with the largest employers in the first instance to measure, reduce and report on their commute emissions. We are also included in the Government's decarbonisation of transport strategy, which is crucial as leadership from central and local government, in addition to large employers will enable a social tipping point to be crossed towards sustainable commuting.My time is spent primarily on engaging the NHS, major Financial Institutions and logistics parks. I also have a Board level responsibility for ensuring that as an organisation, we remain focussed on our impact on emission reduction, whilst also adding value through improved air quality, greater access to work and training, enhanced physical and mental wellbeing and reducing costs for employers and employees at a time of cost of living challenges.

The Forum Trust is an independent self funding charitable trust with a strong commercial culture that has the responsibility for managing and developing The Forum (Norwich’s millennium project for the East of England and a flagship venue for the City of Norwich). Throughout 10 years at the Trust: Was one of the small senior management team, reporting to a Board of highly respected non executive trustees. Contributed significantly to the evolution of the Trust from one with a focus on building The Forum to its launch and growth.The Forum remains one of the few, independent millennium projects that is financially viable. Displayed an ability to be wholly Customer focused with a flair for matching the organisation’s portfolio to a wide range of customer needs from an extensive mix of business sectors. This resulted in: Securing in excess of £2.5million of sponsorship from an impressive range of corporate partners Creating a new revenue stream – hire of public space - which has generated income of nearly £1 million. Successfully developed and delivered consumer and business events often in partnership e.g. Worked with the BBC to stage Children in Need at The Forum on three occasions. Managed human and financial resources to deliver project objectives. Built a business development and marketing team at The Forum which has an excellent reputation across the City for innovation and delivery of the highest quality. Created and delivered marketing strategies and plans for fixed offers (Origins Visitor Attraction and The Curve) and a developing programme of activities and events. Worked with a range of media organisations as both strategic partners and service providers

Throughout the 10 years at London Borough of Ealing: Built trust and long-term relationships with internal stakeholders and private sector partners Built and managed a hire business that turned over £1 million per annum. Led small and very large teams. Displayed skill in recruiting, developing and motivating teams to achieve ambitious targets and to add value. Was always creative and constantly sought to challenge himself and his team to try innovative approaches that pushed boundaries and drove additional income.Key successes Repositioned and rebranded Ealing Town Hall as conference and banqueting centre leading doubling of conference income generated in year one. Transformed the culture at Ealing from an old fashioned local authority regime to one with a strong customer focus and enthusiastic approach to income generation. Successfully bid for £149k from the Heritage Lottery Fund for a capital refurbishment project at the Town Hall. Supported by £80k private sector and £160k Council funds. Jointly led the cross functional project teams to deliver the project. Transformed a series of small local events in to the Ealing Summer Festival, a music and comedy programme of regional significance, which doubled the attendance to 72,000 people in just two years. Introduced corporate sponsorship and other commercial income to virtually cover the total cost of the festival.
