To manage and grow a multi-million dollar store by maximizing profit and controlling expenses. Given the task of growing and retraining higher volume stores and associates on company programs and directives to maximize profit and proficiency – to build a high performance team. Build customer and neighborhood relationships. Assisted other district stores with ideas and practices that have been successful in my store - to help with the growth and development of the store and its team. I have recently been given the task of traveling to multiple districts to train the store staff and management team on company programs. I have also stepped in for the District Manager for district calls, conference calls, compiling information for district/regional reports, assisting in inventory preparation and helping other district stores in setting up large sales/parking lot events.

Ordered and rotated feed stock to the needs of the community. Managed and merchandised my products for what was successful in my store. I managed several million dollar accounts for large ranches. I had to have a high quality of knowledge of the farming and ranching life style, along with pet and farming inoculations. Assisted in preparation and completion of store inventories.

Hiring, training and development of all associates, ad sets, floor plans, and ensuring departments were fully stocked and priced. I was an area manager for the District overseeing 4 area stores to ensure they were to company standards – following company directives and standards.

I started my retail career with Wal-mart where I learned how much I liked the business. I have built a career learning all aspects of the retail business from reading and managing profit and loss statements, to hiring and training employees, to high standards in customer service and cleanliness. I have been responsible for all areas of a supercenter from Hardlines, Softlines, Homelines, Garden Center, Deli, Bakery, Loss Prevention and Grocery areas. Also assisted in the opening of several locations and renovations at older locations.
