I am a mainframe developer by trade, with 20+ years’ experience effectively communicating business needs into technical requirements used in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of software applications. I've worked both in-house and as out-side consultant in industries as varied as pharmaceutical, financial, government, retail clothing, manufacturing and television production.My goal is to develop and deploy for my clients the most robust, most stable, most user friendly IT applications possible. It's not enough to deliver a product with features that were asked for but will never be used. It must serve a purpose. It must solve a problem. It must be done correctly. It is my job to make sure clients know what they are asking for and then deliver it to them. It is that striving for perfection that keeps my fire burning.I am proficient with z/OS, Mainframes, and Distributed systems using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, Control-M, Endevor, Connect:Direct (NDM), MFE, MS Office, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ServiceNow, and Solutions Business Manager (SBM) reporting tools.
