Started my career as Structural Steel Detailer for 1 year before I was assigned to be a Structural Design Engineer that went on for 3 years and exiting as Senior Engineer. Those two roles involve working on Steel Structures, Intelligent Building Systems based in Japan and I was able to complete projects with commendations. I have developed strong engineering professional skills in AutoCAD, IJCAD, Steel Structures, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Scapy3D. I have also worked and lived in Japan for 1 year and was able to adapt to their working ethics-dedication to quality, language and culture.After 4 years, I ventured into working as Structural Modeler/Draftsperson specializing in Precast Construction Technology in Singapore that went on for almost 2years. My most significant project was a 14-storey 9-block Residential Project in India that I was able to complete with good remarks. I also worked on various mixed development and HDBs in Singapore. I have developed skills in Planbar, Tekla, Precast Structural Detailing and Design.Then since 2020 up to this day, I ventured fully into BIM/VDC/IDD/Digital Built Environment with a major Japanese contractor's International Business Unit based in Singapore as a BIM Specialist. Here, I am a part of the company's international BIM team that leads the organization towards full implementation of BIM/VDC/IDD in all of its project across the Asia Pacific region, providing BIM support to our tender teams and project teams on BIM Modelling, 4D Construction Sequencing, 5D Quantity Take-Offs, and trainings on various BIM tools; developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans; conducting market research on latest available technologies on AR/VR/MR, LiDAR Scanning, Drones, CDEs and EDMS; and piloting the implementation of these technologies to project levels.
