I am a highly motivated individual with over 30 years’ experience in three world class manufacturing businesses. I take great pride in my work and am able to adapt to new industries and ways of working in order to make a positive contribution to the business. I have consistently achieved challenging targets in order to deliver maximum value to the business and have received positive feedback regarding my contribution.From completion of my apprenticeship in 1990 to my present position as Head of Industrial Safety, Ergonomics and Sustainability at the Airbus Broughton plant, combined with my academic studies, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in the technical, continuous improvement and managerial aspects of a modern manufacturing business. It is this breadth of knowledge which I believe enables me to contribute to any business environment.

I was a key member of the transnational AOS network developing and deploying new standards and sharing best practice with colleagues through formal and informal networksThrough my team I was also responsible for cost reduction activities across all the product business areas in line with RC / OP targets. These targets are achieved through the robust management of LBIP project portfolios covering attendance hours, disruption, lead time / cycle time, involvement scheme and NPO reduction and target the removal of waste from the process through improvement / innovation. I had full budgetary / headcount control for the AOS team
