Working closely with senior management and stakeholders to develop and deliver our corporate approach to equality and meet legislative requirements. Manage our corporate social responsibility and engagement activities. Use feedback, data and analysis to identify improvements for employees and service usersI advise the organisation on equality and the strategic direction the organisation should take, undertake gap analysis’, develop action plans and strategies and ensure that actions are delivered via corporate working groups consisting of colleagues at various levels across the organisation. I measure our progress using a range of external frameworks and assessments. I design and deliver training to employees, stakeholders and tenants on a range of activities including, equality, safeguarding, welfare reform, learning disability awareness, accessibility and other half and full day courses.I develop and maintain links with people from a range of diverse backgrounds to ensure they can influence the decision making process. I do this through attending established groups, setting up forums, task and finish groups and other engagement activities. In addition I work with schools, colleges and employability projects to design and develop specific community projects, enrichment and employability projects to allow young people to put something back into the community and help them to gain valuable transferrable skills.I am also a member of numerous corporate management groups, some of these include a safeguarding group which has helped ensure vulnerable adults and children are protected from harm, a corporate equality group setting the strategic direction and delivering a range of operational projects and a welfare reform project group exploring the impact of the reforms and how the company will mitigate the risks.
