Verizon has created a first-of-its-kind automated digital media utility. With this unique delivery platform, built on top of Verizon's high-IQ infrastructure, content owners, entertainment companies and digital media retailers are now able to create new business models that capitalize and deliver on the promise of digital entertainment.

Provide production and editing services to this non-profit organization. Secure out-of-town crews for videotaping lecture series and seminars throughout the country, and coordinate with them throughout the production cycle. Edit these lectures for resale on the Society’s website using my own Adobe Premiere system. Edited lectures are then authored to DVD in Adobe Encore for final replication.

Directed and/or switched huge variety of newcasts, industrials, and training/educational programs for clients such as Voice of America and Al Jazeera English. Highly knowledgeable about Grass Valley switchers, from the 200 through the Kalypso. Edit on Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Served as director and technical director in HD studio/control room, using GVG Kalypso switchers and K2 video servers. Most recently directed and online edited new half-hour PBS series "Future of News." Worked with major outside clients, including BBC, Deutsche Welle, CNBC, HDNet, and others. Directed the nationally broadcast 2003 & 2004 White House Christmas Tree Lighting production, directed or switched 1999-2002 productions. Coordinated the workflow, scheduling, editing, finishing, and archiving of all video projects that are exhibited at the Newseum, an interactive news museum, which opened its new facility in 2008. Developed extensive project management experience. Performed non-linear editing and finishing in high definition and standard definition on Avid DS HD and Avid Media Composer Adrenaline HD systems. Performed hardware and software compression of video pieces, using Telestream’s FlipFactory, Sorenson Squeeze, ProCoder 3, and Flix Pro for use in Newseum exhibits, bothon servers and on our web site. Encoded Flash Video, WMV-HD, MPEG-2, AVCHD, and others.
