Developed and deployed Mobile Wireless Networks, Vehicle and Wayside Networks, Systems for CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, Public Address, VoIP and POTS Telephony, Audio and Video archiving, Passenger Information Displays, SCADA, Control Room Integration.• Championed BT’s first RF-based VoIP audio system for vehicle-to-wayside communications to standardize away from custom hardware and software to a scalable and repeatable solution to leap ahead of the competition in technology.• Migrated multiple system product offerings from analog to IP.• Awarded Wireless Expert status from Bombardier Engineering.• Three Patents awarded:o PA and Sign Control System.o Integrated Security Event Management System.o Wireless Trainline System.• Built a team of 17 Engineers from the ground up to transform BT's business model from subcontract management to complete in-house designs for the automated rail industry.• Published white paper and presented for APTA IT-CCTV-RP-001-11 June 2011.• CCTV Standards Working Group – Selection of Cameras, Digital Recording Systems, Digital High-Speed Networks and Trainlines for Use in Transit-Related CCTV Systems.• Originator and Chief Designer of Bombardier’s SEKURFLO mobile video recording system.• Spearheaded all BT-Pittsburgh-based Communication proposals (approximately $150MUSD/yr.).• Detailed project/R&D and resource scheduling/budgeting, requirement and risk management, mitigation planning, scope split negotiations with partners and customers, presentation of BT technology at conferences, seeking out and expanding to new technologies.
