As a Detective at Oak Brook Police Department, I investigate all types of crime, from computer-based to physical and financial. I have been assigned to the Investigations Division for nine years, and I have also been working as a Computer Forensic Examiner as a member of the DuPage County MERIT Digital Forensics Unit, where I acquire and analyze data from computers and mobile devices.I have extensive experience and training in digital forensics, using products from Cellebrite (CCO/CCPA) Magnet Forensics, GrayKey, and OpenText, where I earned my EnCE Certification in December 2018. I have applied my forensic skills to cases involving death investigations, child exploitation, planned violent incidents, fraud, theft, and burglary. I also train my fellow officers on technology tools and issues, and educate citizens through the Citizen's Police Academy. I am passionate about the world of digital forensics and eager to improve my skill sets and apply them to different situations.
