Try to keep a professional relationship with the residents of that unit, communicate with the inmates if they have needs such as medication, scheduled visitations, court and more. Maintenance Crew And Park RangerStony Brook State Park Jun 1994 - Aug 1999Dansville, New YorkWe would clean the park grounds, bathrooms, pavilions, grills and more. The crew would trim, mow, cut down trees, prune... Clear rock slides in the gorge and keep an open trail for the public. Seasonally open and close the man made pools, even opening them up to drain and clean the bottom occasionally. Sometimes I would find myself working the two main entrances/offices to sell tickets to park guests. When I was the Park Ranger my job was to open and operate the Campground office to sell day passes to the park, check in/check out campers, make reservations for future campers, walk the campground to make sure it was clean, campers were in order and following rules, answer questions and hike the trails daily.
