Responsibilities include hardware and software deployment, maintenance, and upgrades at company sites located in the US, China, and the Netherlands. This encompasses management of networking devices (Cisco routers, switches and firewalls WSA/ASA/VPNs), Hyper-V and VMware physical hosts and virtual machines, failover clusters as well as laptops and desktops. I am also responsible for server and desktop operating system management and compliance companywide, utilizing Group Policy (GPO) and System Center Configuration Manager / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM / MECM) which includes application and program packaging, desktop and server patching, operating system deployments and imaging.
