Contracted to Raytheon as Field Inspector/Lead. Worked at various airports (Bellingham, WA., Cheyene,Wy., Nashville,TN., San Antonio,TX.,Muskeegon, MI., Manistee,MI., Lansing, MI.) airports to prepare check points for new x-rays and implement Homeland Securities body scanner installation project. Performed as Raytheon’s liaison at airport construction sites between TSA, Airport Authority, and Construction Contractors. Responsibilities included scheduling contract work,shipping and receiving equipment to be decommissioned and equipment to be installed, contractual compliance, implementing change orders, modification to construction drawings as needed, close-out of warehouse and sign-off and walk through of project to TSA and Airport Authority.

Serviced security equipment at three airports and provided coverage for other areas. Trained and manufacturer certified to maintain and repair and install the following equipment. Rapiscan 520B X-ray, Reveal X-ray, Metorex Walk Through Metal Detector, CEIA Walk Through Metal Detector, Smiths Detection IonScan 400B Explosive Trace Detector, and the GE Itemiser Explosive Trace Detector. Maintained professional communications and business relationships with TSA (Transportation Security Administration) at all levels to provide coordinated service and rapid repair of above equipment. Order parts and shipped repairable parts and maintained records.3/03 – 12/05: Cymer, Inc., San Diego, CA. Laser Test Engineer. Worked in Manufacturing environment troubleshooting and testing electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and cooling systems for the new XLA Argon/ Fluoride lasers for all semi-conductor end users. Train and assist new hires.8/96 – 3/03: Cymer, Inc., San Diego, CA. Sr. Engineering Technician. Worked with engineers and scientists to develop and build module test fixtures. Trained Cymer employees to operate automated test fixtures. Attended and completed instruction in the program for Theory/Ops/Level 1/Level 2/ for Models ELS 5000, 6400, 7000 Excimer Lasers. Attended and completed laser safety classes annually. Performed whole system and module life tests on three generations of laser products.
