A central aspect of my work included addressing emerging trends such as ESG initiatives and the electric vehicle (EV) transition, alongside navigating supply chain dynamics and economic shifts.My initiatives played a pivotal role in revitalizing underperforming assets and optimizing portfolios with evolving ESG standards. Additionally, I capitalized on opportunities arising from the EV transition and other emerging trends, ensuring that the investments remained resilient and positioned for future growth.In pursuit of continuous growth, I completed the INSEAD International Directors Programme, where I gained invaluable insights into corporate governance, strategy, and effective leadership.This period of diverse and impactful engagements has deepened my expertise and broadened my professional horizons, positioning me well for the challenges and opportunities ahead at our new venture.

Managing Director of Cromwell Property Group in Europe, with full operational responsibility for running the European business. Cromwell is a Global Real Estate Investment Manager that owns, manages and invests in commercial property with total Assets Under Management (AUM) of approx. €7.5 billion across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Across Europe, responsible for circa €4 billion of real estate encompassing 220+ assets predominately focused on Industrial & Office space, with 3,000 tenants. Managing a team of 200+ people in 20 offices across 12 European countries.Initiated and drove product development initiatives, resulting in the creation of new mandates such as separate accounts, thematic product-led strategies, and Private Equity partnerships. Oversaw transactions, both disposals and acquisitions, with an annual volume ranging from €450 million to €1.2 billion.Member of the Global Leadership Team, European Risk Management Committee, Debt Committee and chair of European Investment Committee and Executive Management Group.

As a core member of the European Executive Management Team, drove the expansion of investment, asset, and development management capabilities across Europe. Provided strategic oversight of investment performance with a strong focus on maintaining and growing partner relationships.Led the development and execution of expansion strategies for the European Business, including new market entry. A significant milestone achieved during this period was the conception and launch of Cromwell European REIT (CEREIT), the first Singapore REIT (SGX) with a diversified Pan-European portfolio of Industrial & Office assets. Collaborated closely with the CEREIT CEO in Singapore and the global teams to strategically prepare the European platform for the €1.3 billion IPO in 2017. Subsequently, played a pivotal role in managing and expanding CEREIT’s AUM to €2.4 billion (2020).

As Managing Director at Valad Property Group, formulated and executed the corporate strategy for the Benelux region following the Global Financial Crisis (GFC). Oversaw all aspects of the business, from equity deployment to AUM performance, while launching new mandates/separate accounts, and building relationships with key investor partners. With a strong focus on investment and financial performance, we revitalized the team, implemented operational processes, managed corporate finance functions, and delivered main board reporting.Guided the business through a phase of stabilization, and successfully grew the business from approximately €200m to over €1.1 billion in AUM.Employing a strategic approach, identified and executed various Core+ and Value Add strategies, driving significant value creation for partners, including Private Equity and Institutional investors.Member of European Executive Team and Investment Committee, contributing insights and leadership to broader organizational strategies.

Joined TeeslandiOG as a pivotal member of the Benelux management team, assuming the role of Property Director. As a part of the start-up team, played a pivotal role in establishing the company, developing systems and processes, building the property & asset teams, and growing assets under management. Initially tasked with overseeing all property-related activities, including due diligence for new acquisitions, asset onboarding, and assessing refurbishment and redevelopment opportunities. Took charge of project execution, navigating intricate zoning regulations, steering the design process, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.In 2007, I was promoted to the position of Managing Director, taking on full responsibility for the Benelux business.

Responsible for all contract planning, financial control and valuations in respect of the Petrochemical Plant development for Lyondell Chemical Nederland at the Maasvlakte, Rotterdam.

Responsible for the development management and construction of commercial building projects in the Dublin area which included development appraisals, valuations, instruction and management of consultants, negotiation on planning matters with local authorities and land owners.

Part of the onsite development management team responsible for delivering two major HDB projects for the Singapore Government, with a total construction value of SGD 200m and SGD 350m. My main focus was on subcontractor oversight, progress tracking, and meeting deadlines. Additionally, I managed monthly program and valuations, providing detailed reports to senior management and facilitating effective communication with the client's on-site team.

Responsible for the site surveying and quality control activities within the on-site development team. Projects included conversion of redundant buildings (shopping centers) and brownfield developments. My role also involved working with the commercial team in negotiating new lettings and renegotiating existing leases.
