My Exercise Philosophy: Every body is different and requires a personalized level of exercise that is both demanding enough to create improvement and safe as to match your current physical condition. My role as a trainer for 23 years has been to find this balance, and work alongside you to progress you to the next level and, ultimately, to your desired goals. Through assessment, education, progression, consistency, and feedback, together we can build and implement the program you need to get you where you want to go.I began a career as a Personal Fitness Trainer at Fitness by Design in March of 1999 while attending IUPUI. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2001, I remained in the industry at Fitness by Design furthering my experience and applying my knowledge by serving clients in the Indianapolis area. In April of 2006 I was promoted to Director of Trainer Development, where I helped develop and implement the training program for new employees, organized continued education for current staff, and honed my personal training skills with my clients.I opened Body Outfitters in Zionsville, IN in August of 2010 to continue serving people through exercise. Body Outfitters is small studio focused delivering personalized service by expert trainers. We are intimate, and personal with products focused on the needs of our customers. Our Philosophy is simple: Find the balance. - Balance hard training with appropriate rest and nutrition. - Balance your caloric intake with your metabolic needs and activity demands.- Train as hard as possible but with wisdom of your body. This is body care. This is stewardship. This serves people for a lifetime!
