Responsibilities included optimisation of reciprocating compressor fleets; commissioning of a new booster compressor; confined space entry internal process inspections of fractionation columns/ vessels/ heat exchangers; day-to-day troubleshooting and uptime/ reliability monitoring of all gas plant unit operations; process and laboratory chemistry monitoring of “Benfield Process” CO2 removal train equipment including corrosion control/ metallurgical reviews; risk assessments/ HAZOP studies; incident investigations; process engineering support for plant emergency response.
