• Fault finding on a range PLC controlled equipment including CNC machines, welding robots, Laser and Plasma profiling machines paint shop and assembly flow lines.• Managing staff to ensure all breakdowns are responded to in a timely fashion.• Producing and implementing a planned maintenance schedule to reduce downtime and increase machine efficiency.• Carrying out risk assessments and method statements for all planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.• Generating machine performance data to drive improvement projects.• Managing site contractors to ensure all work is carried out in a safe and timely manner to the required standard. • Resolving any site issues –providing hands on support when required.• Liaising with suppliers and service engineers, organising machine services, ordering spare parts

• Managing weekly workload, ensuring breakdowns are dealt with in a timely fashion whilst ensuring the weekly PM schedule is completed.• Leading small projects in area of responsibility, and presenting outcome to team.• Supporting six sigma continuous improvement activities- attending monthly meetings taking ownership for any actions in area of responsibility, identifying and eliminating downtime issues to maximize machine productivity.• Generating GMP documentation such as SOP and best practice sheets, follow on work orders, investigating GIMS incidents and deviations and raising change controls where necessary.• Reviewing existing Asset Care documents to increase value and reduce possible downtim• Carrying out a planned maintenance programme whilst keeping to tight deadlines to avoid any deviations.• Machine size and format changes.• Installation of new equipment working alongside the project engineers.• Working with the machine operators to improve existing machinery.• Regular inspection of blister and packaging to verify consistent quality and adjusting machine accordingly to resolve any issues.• Attending monthly CI meetings to review and resolve machine performance issues.• Resolving any machine breakdowns within allocated timeframe.
