The project utilised the vBLOCK architecture from VCE consisting of Cisco UCS, EMC Storage, Cisco Fabric and Nexus switches as a platform for VMWare clusters.Responsible for assisting with the connecting network design and implementation stages. These included managing the design and deployment of several interim solutions and working in a team to manage the migration to the full production and management networks. MDS Private IaaS CloudThis project included the design and implementation of VMWare cluster providing private IAAS for MDS Technologies customers. I worked within a small team of engineers and my responsibilities included the design and implementation of the network infrastructure and assisting with the build and configuration of the VMWare cluster and vCloud director.MDS Tibboh Project – Network and Servers Technical Lead This role included taking over responsibility of a platform designed to support internet filtering for mobile devices for Tibboh Internet Limited. I was responsible for the on-going support and maintenance of the platform and supervising another network systems engineer. MDS Support and Other Projects Supporting the core network infrastructure including many historical solutions still running that required support and maintenance.

Responsibility for all internal information systems including the network and server infrastructure, data security and company online communications. Worked closely with the development teams to support their platform requirements. Software installation and deployment consultant attending customer office locations across United Kingdom.Responsible for the design and implementation to successfully merge with another company and their IT infrastructure.Improved internal company collaboration and online communications using a selection of applications.Implemented VoIP solution to access to the main switchboard from remote sites over VPN.Responsible for supporting Linux servers running various applications.

Worked closely in a small team supporting a distributed network and server infrastructure located across Avonmouth and Portbury docks. Responsible for the support and maintenance of Cisco / HP network devices, distributed Windows and Novell servers across remote sites.Responsible for a successful Microsoft Windows Domain migration from NT4 to 2000 and Exchange server upgrade.
