An excellent communicator with strong leadership skills and an attention to detail. Looking to continue building my experience in industrial automation, preferably in the oil & gas industry.I have experienced the whole spectrum of project work from early design and consultation to estimation, detailed design, integration, factory testing, site testing and commissioning. I have worked closely with clients, project managers, vendors, subcontractors, operators, technicians and of course other engineers. Some of my experience in different project phases is highlighted below:Early Design/FEED• Produce scope of work documents with input from the client.• Develop the technical solution with specialist engineers.• Produce estimates, schedules and resource plans for project managers.Detailed Design• Identify project risks and put mitigation plans in place.• Handle design changes and prepare change orders where appropriate.• Prioritise and distribute work to other engineers and subcontractors.• Prepare and review design specificationsFactory Testing• Review and accept deliverables from subcontractors.• Schedule and assign resources to avoid project delays.Commissioning• Act as the first point-of-contact with the customer• Solve technical and political problems in a stressful and time-pressured environment• Track and report progress back to the project manager• Work closely with people who speak only limited English
