As a CSS I provide computer support to end-users and department-level application and resource servers. This includes supporting the department's primary application, Accela, as well as several productivity applications used for mapping/GIS, document management, and plan evaluation and markup. Of late the focus has been on remote support and collaboration. The aspect I enjoy most however continues to be assisting staff in being productive and happy...or at least satisfied with their technology needs.

Worked in Data Center Operations and Service Desk; operating IBM mainframe and monitoring UIM SNMP management system and generating/tracking tickets. Continued and extended role to desktop and account support at the Tier-1 level working for the county Health Care Agency as an OSC. Enjoyed learning Office 365 and other new developments in the Microsoft portfolio; learned and came to admire Service Now...probably the most powerful ITIL ticketing system I've used to-date.
