Chief Procurement Officer
CurrentCSCS is a buying co-operative owned by Applebee's and IHOP operators across the U.S. responsible for the sourcing and delivery of food, supply, and indirect spend items used by our members. This role reports to the President/CEO of CSCS.Responsibilities:- Procurement responsibility for over 1500 items, supplied by over 350 suppliers, valued at $1.8billion/yr: - Product/Supplier sourcing, Contract negotiation/management - Pricing/hedging strategies - Process compliance/improvement - Commodity/Ingredient cost forecasting- Support to Applebee's and IHOP on new product development, testing, LTO management- Leadership of 22 person team of Procurement, Risk Mgmt, and Administrative specialists- Executive Team interface with Co-Op Boards of Directors (Applebee's and IHOP) - Maintain positive working relationships with Members, Brand departments (Culinary, QA, etc.), Brand Program Mgmt to ensure Procurement activity supports Members’ and Brands’ operational needs.
