Onboard Manager of Clearwater's newest offshore factory-freezer clam harvesting vessel

Oversee the conversion project. Monitoring / tracking the project progress, coordinating contractors and suppliers, liaising with the shipyard, consulting on modifications as needed, and providing reports as required.

Responsible for all vessel-related business from shore-side. Project and refit planning. Crewing and landings logistics.

Responsible for Navigation / Fishing operations.

As Vessel Manager, all aspects of day-to-day operations were my focus i.e.: crewing, logistics, safety. I was also responsible for : refit planning, creating yearly operating budget and any other special project planning.

Ice navigation, responsible for fishing operations, ensuring a safe working environment for the crew.

Worked as a "Deckhand" on-board the schooner Bluenose II during her epic voyage from Lunenburg, N.S. to Expo '86 in Vancouver B.C.
